Fostering

Fostering is a great way to volunteer with the rescue. The more fosters we have, the more dogs and cats we can save.  You can choose what you are interested in fostering!

We provide all the supplies and the medical and you love on the furkid until we can place them in their forever home. Nothing is more rewarding than knowing they have a chance because of you.

Contact us today for more information or fill out a foster application and we will set up a time to meet with you to discuss fostering.

Senior Projects

We appreciate the desire of the local high school seniors to work with rescues. Because we are foster-based and insurance requires those that handle animals to be 18 years old, we cannot allow students younger than 18 to help with dogs or cats at events, walk the dogs, or clean cat kennels. Your local shelter may be a better option for that.

However, if your family would like to foster and you are under 18, you are able to handle the dog or cat that lives with you. You would have to commit to foster until that dog or cat is adopted, which can be as short as 3 weeks or could be as long as a year or two. On average it is around a 3-6 months commitment. Or, if that is not a possibility, you are more than welcome to do a fundraiser or donation drive. They are very much needed and we do appreciate all help we can get.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
