Born in 2018, Gizmo is a handsome tripod kitty with a heart as big as his purr. Life hasn't always been easy for this sweet boy. Before coming into rescue, Gizmo lost a leg in an unfortunate accident. Thankfully, he adapted remarkably well and never let having only three legs slow him down.
 
Gizmo was adopted and enjoyed several happy years in a loving home. Unfortunately, when his adopter had to move into assisted living, they could no longer care for him, and family members were unable to take him in. Through no fault of his own, Gizmo found himself back in rescue once again.
 
While he's probably a little confused about why his life changed, Gizmo is taking it all in stride. He has a laid-back personality and tends to accept whatever life throws his way. Initially, she had a severe eye infection that raised concerns about her sight. Although there's a very slight film on her one eye, Tuxie has shown she can see well and has no issues—just another testament to her resilience!

This playful girl is full of energy and loves her toys. She’s a bit of a drama queen; if her playmates get too rough, she might scream as if she’s being mistreated. Because of this, Tuxie would do best in a home with children aged ten and up.

When she’s not busy zooming around or chasing laser pointers, Tuxie adores snuggling up next to you—of course, it has to be her idea! One minute she’s full of energy, and the next, she’s ready to curl up for a cozy nap.
